Bom o que falar sobre The Gathering o albun é fantastico, as musicas são pessadas e rapidas Thrash Metal de Altissima Qualidade. O vocal de Chuck Billy está bem mais grave os duetos guitarrísticos e riffs de Murphy e Peterson são um primor, uma maravilha, um prato cheio para os apreciadores de um bom trabalho de guitarra.
